The brief
An imagined father-and-daughter business covering Western Sydney and the Hills. Their rule: send a photo of the switchboard first, and most jobs can be priced without a visit. Homeowners who know something is wrong, but not what the job is called.
The problem
Most quote forms are one big text box, and most electrician sites look the same: trust blue, safety orange, a wall of badges.
Design decisions
Type
Big Shoulders for headings, Atkinson Hyperlegible for text. Clear on a phone in daylight.
Colour
Conduit white, meter-box grey, ink, and earth green and yellow, used once. No blue, no orange.
Layout
Flip a breaker to add a job. The form then asks for a photo of your switchboard, your suburb and a mobile number. Starting prices are listed.
The thing people remember
The switchboard you can flip. The indicator turns red for on, like a real breaker.
